This is the house that Johnny and Patti built. While the front appears to be one story,the back has two stories. This allows us to have a sixteen foot ceiling in theliving area, with lofts at either end and a bridge connecting them. Because the hill is so steep, the guest room is at a third-story level with respect to the ground.

These pictures show a bit of the view from my study, with Popples and a small sample of grandchildren on the left. We say we have my kids, your kids, and OUR grandkids.

On the right is the Victorian Lady who keeps me company while I write. No, the grandchildren aren't very condusive to writing.
